If you go to Navarre, the pier is a must-- especially since it is only $1. The water is so clear that we were able to see turtles, rays, dolphins, and lots of different fish. There is a blue heron who comes to visit the fishers as well. It is beautiful!The current Navarre Beach Fishing Pier is made of concrete. It opened in 2010 to replace the old wooden pier, which was built in 1974 and was destroyed by a hurricane in 2005.
